Our primary site is in Northern Virginia, with replication to Dallas, TX, both sites are climate/access controlled professionally managed datacenters, with dry pipe fire suppression systems and redundant battery backup systems and generator backup power sources. SAS-70 certified, they are staffed 24x7 with both security and operations personnel.
We use BPG/redundant ISP links and redundant Enterprise class hardware with node clustering with HA/FA where applicable.
With many TBs of compressed data under management, we are small enough to care about each customer yet large enough to invest in quality platforms and professional processes. Expertly managed by seasoned staff following best practices procedures (open and closed source monitoring, backup, security, and auditing tools, avoiding any homogeneous platform vulnerabilities), and delivered via a customer service experience which has allowed us to grow purely from referral business.

Q1) Are you VARs
A1) No, we are a managed service provider. We own the infrastructure on which the software we own runs; namely: servers, nas, san, firewalls, switches. We do not own the datacenters we occupy. MSPs allow for tasks which are ripe for outsourcing (specialized tasks requiring a steep learning curve and continuing education, and tasks removed from the core competency of clients) to be outsourced on a pay as you go/pay as you grow plan. Think of us like a utility: power, water, internet connection... data protection and backup serivce.
A2) Yes. Several of our platforms are "white label" capable with which VAR's clients have no idea we're involved. Some VARs prefer to bring us into the loop, as a named subcontractor or partner organization. Either way is fine with us, as long as all is codified and expectations understood; through both arrangements we agree to no-poach rules and to work to support the VAR and the end user. We find and keep VARs by making their lives easier - let's face it not all IT shops have the time, expertise, capital, and manpower to run two remote datavaults, but all IT shops either need the services for themselves, or for their clients.
A3) No. We buy best in class software in MSP form to manage and operate for our custoemers and resellers. Backup and replication software is nothing to be undertaken lightly, for a few reasons: 1) it is not a widget on a teen's IM dashboard, rather a tool responsible for sensitive corporate, organizational, and mission critical data; 2) authoring and maintaining code of this type has to be an organization's core competency, we are not software developers. We buy the product and package it in a form that allows our users to leverage this IP and our infrastructure and processes on an incremental costs basis; our software skills come into play in our ability to leverage our software's APIs, and automation and scaling for cost effective dataprotection growth.
A4) Each service is priced differently. Some are purely capacity based (cost/storage/term, e.g.: $5.00/GB/Month), some are node/host based only with a cap on capacity for a fixed fee (e.g.: for four NASes, upto 4TB is $9,500/mo), some are a combination of the two methods. For target replication, depends on if we own the target or colocate your own equipment. Contract length affects pricing, as expected. Contact Us to learn about your project and for a quote.
A5) Yes. For service types 1 and 3, we can grant fixed size demo accounts quite easily, please Contact Us for a trial. Demo/trial accounts for servies 2 or 4 would require more discussion of factors surrounding the proposed solutions, Contact Us for more information and for a quote.
